News and current affairs play a critical role in the community.
The Seven news team are relentless in their ambition to always report the truth. Unstoppable: that’s the promise our news team makes to viewers.
Seven’s commitment to bringing all Australians the best and most up-to-date news and current affairs will increase in 2025, with a new hour-long 12 noon bulletin that will be a game-changer, not only looking at breaking news headlines but providing time for in-depth discussion and debate.
It comes on the back of Seven adding an extra half hour to The Morning Show, which will now run from 9am to noon.
They will join Seven’s other leading news and current affairs programs, from Australia’s #1 nightly news program 7NEWS and the #1 breakfast show Sunrise to 7NEWS Spotlight, Weekend Sunrise and The Latest from 7NEWS.
In an increasingly dystopian world of conspiracy theorists and deepfakes and misinformation, our journalism has never been more important.
On any given day, 10 of the 24 hours on Seven are proudly produced by the 7NEWS team, from Sunrise and The Morning Show to our morning, afternoon, prime-time 6.00pm and late-night bulletins, plus 7NEWS Spotlight on Sunday nights.
On top of that, Australia turns to Seven’s digital assets for news when and where they need it: 7NEWS.com.au – one of the most popular news sites in the country – and Australia’s only digital evening newspaper launched this year, The Nightly.
We know audiences are changing. The race for eyeballs has never been more crowded. We’re producing modern and dynamic content for high value audiences that have never been more engaged or informed with the news.
